Case study

Lubanxchange

Lubanxchange project preview

Overview

Lubanxchange is an Omani online trading platform dedicated to the global trade of luban (frankincense) resin and oil. The platform connects producers, traders, and buyers worldwide, supporting transactions ranging from spot trading to futures contracts.

I worked directly with the client on the website, handling the UI/UX design and frontend development. I was responsible for translating the client's requirements into a responsive interface, from the initial wireframes through the final frontend implementation.

UI/UX Design

I started the project by gathering the requirements directly from the client and translating them into an initial interface structure.

The design process included:

  • Low-fidelity wireframes
  • High-fidelity designs
  • Responsive layouts
  • Client presentations
  • Design revisions based on client feedback
  • Final design validation

I used Figma to create and iterate on the designs before starting the frontend implementation.

Frontend Development

After the design was approved, I developed the responsive interface using:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Tailwind CSS

The implementation focused on accurately translating the approved Figma designs into a responsive frontend across different screen sizes.
